Chelsea won the 1959-60 FA Youth Cup, beating Preston North End 5-2 on aggregate in the final. It was the club's maiden success in the competition and laid the foundations for the future of the club. The team included legendary names such as Peter Bonetti and all-time leading goalscorer Bobby Tambling.
