Charlie Brown is a forward currently playing in Chelsea's Academy team.
Charlie joined Chelsea at the age of 16 after coming through the ranks at Ipswich Town, and having signed a scholarship with them earlier that summer.
He was mainly used as an impact substitute during his first season at the club, but managed to score 10 goals in a little under 600 minutes of action, including four from the bench in the 13-0 win over Brighton. He also made his Development Squad debut in March 2017 against Liverpool.
He was a part of the academy's quadruple-winning 2017-18 team, scoring 22 goals in all competitions, and in 2018-19 his 12 UEFA Youth League goals made him the competition's joint all-time leading goalscorer. Continuing his development into 2020, he joined Belgian club Union-SG on his first loan move in January of that year, but the Covid-19 pandemic brought that to a premature end. A return move there in August ended in October without an appearance and, in January 2021, he joined Milton Keynes on a permanent deal.
Charlie has no international representation to date.
