Cole Dasilva is a full-back who formerly played for Chelsea's Academy teams.
Cole came into the game as a youngster in Luton Town's academy.
In 2012, Cole, along with twin brother Rio and older brother Jay, moved to Chelsea from Luton Town in a much-publicised deal. He made his Under-18 debut during the 2013-14 season as an Under-15 and made a number of appearances during the following campaign as an Under-16 before becoming a regular feature under Joe Edwards in the first year of his scholarship in 2015-16. His versatility enabled him to feature on either side in a full-back or a wing-back capacity and, with the Under-21 squad stretched for players late in the campaign, he made his debut at that age group away to Middlesbrough.
Further opportunities to feature at the now-Development Squad level would follow in 2016-17 as he grew in stature both literally and figuratively, adopting a leadership role in the Under-18s and producing consistently impressive performances in a variety of roles, most commonly at wing-back. He also began to find the scoresheet with greater frequency, chipping in with half a dozen goals, including one in the FA Youth Cup Final against Manchester City.
He played only fleetingly in 2017-18 at Development Squad level, and it was his last season at the club, leaving at the end of the campaign.
Cole has been capped by both England (Under-16 level) and Wales up to Under-21 level, winning the Victory Shield with the latter in 2014.
