Conor Gallagher is a midfielder currently playing in Chelsea's Academy team.

Pre-Chelsea career

Conor joined Chelsea as an eight-year old.

Chelsea career

Conor made his Under-18 debut against West Ham United in March 2016 before penning his scholarship three months later. In a competitive midfield group under new manager Jody Morris he proved to be a beacon of consistency, missing just two league matches all season long. His strong year was recognised with a Development Squad debut, the Academy Scholar of the Year award, and a goalscoring Man of the Match performance in the league-title clinching win over Reading.

After excelling in Development Squad football, he went on loan to Charlton at the start of 2019-20, excelling for a struggling team before swapping them for promotion-chasing Swansea in mid-season. To start 2020-21, he joined Premier League newcomers West Brom on loan.

Conor has represented England to Under-21 level, winning the 2017 Under-17 World Cup in India.
