George Brady is a defender who formerly played for Chelsea's Academy team.
George - the nephew of noted football executive Karren Brady - was born in Monaco, France, and spent the majority of his junior footballing career with clubs in the South of France. In July 2012 he joined Chelsea from AS Cannes.
George captained the Under-16 team on his first season in England, and whilst he featured in occasional Under-17 friendlies, he didn't debut in the Under-18 team until the start of his first year as a scholar. He reached double figures in appearances before Christmas despite the rotational aspect of the youth team's defence and whilst he was unable to break into a strong FA Youth Cup squad, he was a mainstay of an increasingly young league team which he captained towards the end of the campaign. His first goals came in the last game of the season at home to Tottenham when he scored two first half headers.
An injury-hit 2014-15 campaign gave way to his eventual departure from the club at the end of the season.
George has no international representation to date.
