George McEachran is a midfielder currently playing in Chelsea's Academy team.
George joined Chelsea as an Under-9. He is the younger brother of former Chelsea player Josh McEachran.
George made his Under-18 debut against Swansea City in October 2015 and made a handful more appearances before the end of the season. Though similar in technical style to Josh, he featured more in an attacking role for Jody Morris as the Under-18s saw off all-comers in a treble success; his 6 goals and 12 assists weighing large in FA Youth Cup and Under-18 Premier League glories. He was just as integral to the 2017-18 quadruple-winning team, and then set about carving out a defined role in the UEFA Youth League teams that reached back-to-back Finals in 2018 and 2019 while establishing himself in the Development Squad. He was on the bench for the first-team in November 2019 away to MOL Vidi in the Europa League, but remained unused by Maurizio Sarri despite having subs remaining in a dead rubber.
He joined Dutch side Cambuur on his first loan move in January 2020, but made just two substitute appearances before the season was cancelled due to Covid-19.
George has represented England up to Under-19 level.
