Western Football League
From TheChels.info - The Chelsea Football Club Wiki
The Western League was formed in 1892 as the Bristol & District League, and became the Western League in 1895. It is still in existance today.
This was the only season that Chelsea played in this competition and they were to finish 6th. of six teams.
Although one might consider that this is to be a Reserve competition from it's origins, the only players who appeared in the League side, but in none of these 12 games, were William Porter, and Ronald Brebner, who each made just 1 first team appearance.
There are 11 players who did appear in this competition and may be considered reserve players, but between them they only made a total of 13 appearances.
I believe that the other 5 clubs also considered this to be a 1st. team competition.
