David Calderhead, Jnr. was a Scottish centre half who played for Chelsea prior to the First World War. His father, David Calderhead, Snr., was manager of the club between 1907 and 1933. Having left to join Motherwell in 1914, Calderhead's career was interrupted by the outbreak of hostilities, and he would make just one appearance for Leyton Orient following the war. [1] He went on to manage Lincoln City in the early 1920s, where his father had been manager 20 years earlier.
