Chelsea returned to Wales for pre-season training before the 1986/87 season, playing 3 games in the Principality before going across the water to Ireland to play a further couple of games.
They finished their pre-season friendlies travelling from one end of the country (Hibernian) to the other (Plymouth and Torquay) and finishing at Crystal Palace.
