Adrian Viveash (born 30 September 1969) is the current Under-21 Manager at Chelsea.
Pre-Chelsea
A veteran of over 400 club career league appearances, Viveash made his name as a battle-hardened central defender most notably at hometown side Swindon Town in the Premier League, and most prolifically at Walsall.
After winding down his playing career at non-league Cirencester Town, he moved into the dugout and managed the Gloucestershire-based outfit.
Chelsea career
In 2008 Viveash was offered a role in the Chelsea academy, coaching the junior age setups. He quickly became involved with the Under-15 and Under-16 age groups, and was promoted to manager of the latter for the 2009-10 season. He also worked closely with Under-18 manager Dermot Drummy, serving as something of an Assistant Manager particularly during FA Youth Cup ties.
In July 2011, with Drummy's promotion to Reserve Team Manager, Viveash was handed the Youth Team Manager's job. He proceeded to win two FA Youth Cup titles in three years, finishing runner-up in the year sandwiched between successes, and in May 2014 qualified for his UEFA Pro License.
In June 2014 he was promoted to Under-21 manager following Drummy's departure to become Head of International Coaching.
