Andriy Mykolayovych Shevchenko (born 29 September 1976) is a striker who played for Chelsea between 2006 and 2009. Shevchenko signed for Chelsea in May 2006 for a club record £30m, following a decorated club career with Dynamo Kiev and AC Milan. However, he largely failed to recapture his previous form with Chelsea and became a fringe player at the club. He was loaned back to Milan during the 2008-09 season and moved to Dynamo Kiev at the start of the 2009-10 season.
