Anthony Grant (born 4 June 1987 in Lambeth) is an English midfielder who made one appearance for Chelsea in 2005, having joined the club as a youngster. His only first team appearance for the Blues was extremely brief but came in a memorable match; a 3-1 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford after Chelsea had already been confirmed as Premier League champions. Grant made a last-minute substitute appearance.
After various loan spells while on Chelsea's books he eventually joined Southend United permanently in 2008. He faced his former club in the FA Cup the following January, his side forcing a replay after a late equaliser earned them a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea won the replay 4-1; a match that Grant also started. He went on to spend four years at Roots Hall, making 184 appearances and scoring ten goals. He joined Stevenage in 2012 before moving to Crewe Alexandra a year later.
