Notes

Although entioned by name in the report, Scopelli is not in the Capital line-up.
This was Chelsea’s 4th. match in the space of just just 8 days, with some of the locals having also played against Chelsea for, maybe the third time.
Sadly in the 85th. minute, in the words of the local report, “owing to a disgraceful incident which occurred when Kuko, the Capital’s inside-left, was brought down by Rodger in a tackle.” A second pitch invasion followed with Andy Wilson being struck across the face and the referee was left with no option but to abandon the m atch.
