The above line-ups and scorers are taken from a newspaper report of the day. Interestingly, the Official Watford website says that the scorers were Jezzard and Lewis (3 goals)!
In addition they say that the forward line should be – Jezzard, Wicks, Lewis, Walker, Tivendale – despite the report clearly saying that Tivendale was “prevented from attending!”
