Christophe Lollichon is a French goalkeeping coach who joined Chelsea in November 2007. He had previously worked with Petr Čech at Rennes, where he had coached since 1999. Lollichon filled one of the many vacancies created by José Mourinho's departure, as many of Chelsea's backroom staff left with the Portuguese manager.
Though he was never a top player, Lollichon used to train once a week with Nantes, occasionally sharing the training pitch with Marcel Desailly and Didier Deschamps. He was an amateur player until the age of 24 when he decided to pursue a career in coaching. He set up a successful Academy at lower league club Ancenis, before being offered a role at Rennes. [1]
