Pre-Chelsea career
Daishawn came through the ranks at Ajax before departing as a 16 year-old.
Chelsea career
Daishawn agreed to join Chelsea in May of 2017. He spent two years at the club, in which he scored 33 goals in 66 matches, and won the academy quadruple in 2017-18 as part of Jody Morris' all-conquering youth team squad.
In July 2019 he joined Hertha BSC in Germany on a permanent deal.
International
Daishawn has represented the Netherlands up to Under-19 level. He is also eligible to represent Surinam.
