Dennis Sorrell (born 7 October 1940 in Lambeth) is a former wing half who was at Chelsea between 1962 and 1964. He was signed from Leyton Orient on 6 March 1962 and made his debut three days later, but it would prove to be his only appearance of the season. He subsequently failed to break into the first team and made just four appearances for the Blues in over two seasons at the club. His only goal in a royal blue shirt came in a 2-1 defeat in the FA Cup against Manchester United. He eventually returned to Orient in September 1964, having made his last appearance for Chelsea the previous November.
