Francis O’Hara was a centre forward who appeared for Chelsea during the club's debut season in 1905-06, scoring three times in as many games. He made his debut and scored twice in Chelsea's first ever FA Cup match, a 6-1 win against the 1st Grenadier Guards, and was also part of the reserve side that lost 7-1 to Crystal Palace in the 3rd qualifying round (O'Hara scoring Chelsea's only goal), after the Blues were forced to play Burnley in the league on the same day; a match that the first team won 1-0. His final game for Chelsea came towards the end of the season; a home defeat against Gainsborough Trinity.
