John King

John King (born in 1960 in Slough, Berkshire) is a novelist and Chelsea supporter. His 1997 novel The Football Factory, a fictional account of Chelsea-supporting hooligans, was highly successful and has sold over 250,000 copies in the UK to date. The Football Factory was subsequently turned into a play by Brighton Theatre Events, with German and Dutch adaptations following. It was later loosely adapted into a film of the same name.
