Before Chelsea
Kiernan Dewsbury‑Hall joined Leicester City's academy at the age of eight and rose steadily through the ranks. After signing his first professional contract in 2017, he gained senior experience with loan spells at Blackpool and then Luton Town, where he impressed with his creativity and work rate in midfield. Returning to Leicester, he broke into the first team during the 2021–22 season and quickly became a key player. Despite Leicester’s relegation in 2022–23, Dewsbury-Hall remained with the club and played a central role in their immediate promotion as Championship winners the following year, earning the club’s Player of the Season award.
Chelsea career
Dewsbury-Hall signed for Chelsea in July 2024, reuniting with Enzo Maresca, his former manager at Leicester. Although he found regular Premier League starts hard to come by, he played an influential role in Chelsea’s European and international campaigns. He featured consistently throughout the UEFA Europa Conference League, where he contributed important goals and assists, including a key performance in the final. He also played in the FIFA Club World Cup as Chelsea lifted the trophy. His ability to progress play, carry the ball from deep, and link midfield to attack earned praise, even as he continued to fight for a more prominent role in league fixtures.
On August 6, 2025, Dewsbury-Hall left the club and signed with Everton for an undisclosed amount, which was reportedly around £29 million.
