Leslie "Les" Fridge (born 27 August 1968 in Inverness), is a Scottish former goalkeeper who made one appearance for Chelsea in 1986, having joined the club as a youngster.
Chelsea career
A youth player at Chelsea, Fridge made his debut on the final day of the 1985-86 season, but let in five goals against Watford in what would prove to be his only appearance for the first team.
After Chelsea
Fridge returned to Scotland in January 1987, signing for St Mirren, [1] where he would spend the following six years. After spells with Clyde, Raith Rovers and Irish side Dundalk, Fridge returned to his home town in 1997 to play for Inverness Caledonian Thistle. He remained at the club until 2002, making 78 appearances in all competitions. [2]
He then joined Ross County before retiring as a player in 2003. He was appointed manager of Highland League side Nairn County in 2004, and as of 2012 was still in charge of the side. [3]
