Neil Bath is the current Academy Manager at Chelsea, a role which oversees the everyday running and development of Chelsea's youth and reserve teams.
Chelsea career
Neil joined Chelsea on a part-time basis in 1993 coaching schoolboys and worked his way up to become Assistant Academy Director in 2002 before taking control as Academy Manager in 2004.
He continues to participate in day-to-day coaching whilst overseeing everything that goes on at Cobham in the junior ranks, from the age of eight all the way up to the Reserve team. He will occasionally take charge of the Under-18 team if the manager at the time is required in the Reserve setup, as was the case a few times between 2006 and 2009.
