Peter Corthine is a former player who made two appearances for Chelsea in the 1959-60 season, both on the right wing. Corthine joined from non-league Leytonstone, [1] and having failed to gain a regular first team place at Stamford Bridge, the young forward moved to Southend United, where he scored 25 goals in 73 appearances in just over two years. [2]
