Walter Bennett (17 April 1901 — 1988) was an English wing-half who made five appearances for Chelsea in the early 1920s. Signed in October 1922, he made his debut the following month but it would prove to be his only appearance of the season. He would make four further appearances in the 1923-24 season but with first team opportunities severely limited he signed for Southend United in May 1924.
