Wheatsheaf Park is the home ground of Staines Town Football Club, and currently hosts Chelsea Ladies and some youth team matches.
Located on Wheatsheaf Lane, Staines, Surrey – just to the west of London – it has been the home of Staines Town since it was purchased in 1951. The ground has a total capacity of 3,000, with 300 seated and 800 in covered terrace.
Prior to the semi-finals, 2011-12 FA Youth Cup home matches were played at Staines, and in 2012 Staines Town partnered with Chelsea Ladies, with Wheatsheaf Park to host all Ladies matches in 2012. [1]
Transport
Wheatsheaf Park is approximately a one mile walk south from Staines railway station, which is served by regular South West Trains services from London Waterloo, and two trains per hour to Windsor & Eton Riverside, Weybridge and Reading respectively.
