In the 1984-85 season the Chelsea Youth team again returned to Switzerland to play in the Blue Stars Tournament in Zurich; it is believed that this was a one-day tournament (probably 5-a-side) played in May 1985, with Chelsea losing to US Cremonese of Italy 1-0 in the semi-final.
The second tournament this season was in Salem, Germany, probably at the end of May 1985. Again Chelsea reached the semi-final stage, this time losing to Borussia on sudden death penalties.
Other than this little is known about the matches played in these tournaments.
