In the 2005/06 season Chelsea played just a friendly match against Wycombe Wanderers, followed by Benfica in Portugal.
However, they did then played a further three matches in America in the World Series Trophy for the second season, where they were undefeated and brought the Trophy back to Stamford Bridge.
