Cristian Cuevas (born 2nd April 1995 in Rancagua, Chile) is a versatile left-sided player who played for Chelsea.

Before Chelsea
Cuevas came through the youth team ranks at O'Higgins and made his debut shortly after turning 16, featuring against Colo Colo in May 2011.
In November 2012 it was announced that Cristian would spend some time on trial with Chelsea, with a view to a permanent move. He duly impressed and deal was arranged for a deal to take place ahead of the 2013-14 for a fee in the region of £2m. He remained at O'Higgins for the remainder of the 2012-13 season, appearing regularly for the club's first team.
Chelsea career
Cristian was confirmed as a Chelsea player on July 23rd 2013 and spent a couple of weeks with the Under-21 squad in pre-season before joining Vitesse Arnhem on loan for the season. Like Ulises Dávila before him, he spent much of his time there acclimatising to Europe and playing with the Dutch club's Under-23 team. Midway through the season, he joined Second Division club FC Eindhoven until the end of the season in a bid to increase his playing time.
In July 2014 he returned to Chile to play for Universidad de Chile on loan but was largely a bit-part player throughout the season.
International
Cristian has represented Chile at Under-17 and Under-20 levels, and earned a maiden first senior call-up in May 2013 for a friendly against Brazil. However, he didn't get onto the pitch to make a debut.
