Chelsea career
Danny is a technically accomplished midfielder who possesses a dangerous set piece, be it a free kick or a corner. He has been with the club since his early teens and has been a regular feature in the Under-16 team. An injury denied him a competitive debut in 2009/10 but he did travel with the club on their 2010 Dallas Cup trip.
He spent a large portion of his first year as a scholar on the sidelines but returned later in the season to put a run of games together, scoring his first goal against Portsmouth. Unfortunately, in a match against MK Dons in March 2011, he suffered a catastrophic knee injury which sidelined him for a full year, but he returned to full contact training in March 2012 and to match action a month later.
However, despite reports of him being offered a one-year extension, Chelsea noted that Danny left the club in the summer of 2012 in the official Yearbook.
International
Danny has not represented England at any level.
