Having played in the Harrow, Wembley & District League for some years, and then the North Surrey League for a couple of seasons, and having several players from the East London area, Chelsea entered the Hornchurch & District League (with the League Cup). However, it seems, they were far too good for this competition, conceding just 16 goals in 20 League and Cup games and doing a League and Cup double. With the South East Counties League growing in status, this was the last season that the Chelsea Youth team were to appear in a 'minor' competition.

Unfortunately, the final table is not known, but as Chelsea won the League with a 100% record of the matches played, it would appear that the home matches against Clockhouse Youth Club and Cambell B. C. were unplayed.
