Neil Clement (born 3 October 1978 in Reading) is a former defender who made four appearances for Chelsea between 1996 and 2000 (three of which were as a substitute), having joined the club as a youngster. He is the younger brother of former Chelsea coach Paul Clement. Clement had several loan spells while at Chelsea, the last of which was at West Bromwich Albion, whom he would join permanently. He featured regularly at the Hawthorns over the next ten years before retiring from playing in January 2010.
