Pre-Chelsea career
In July 2022, Omari Hutchinson joined Chelsea, initially featuring for the club’s development squad while training regularly with the first team.
Chelsea career
Hutchinson made his Chelsea first-team debut in January 2023 in an FA Cup tie against Manchester City. He went on to make several appearances across domestic cup competitions and the Premier League, gaining exposure at senior level while continuing to play a leading role for the club’s U21 side.
To secure regular first-team football, Hutchinson joined Ipswich Town on loan for the season. Playing primarily as a right winger, he became a key attacking figure during Ipswich’s promotion push.
