Roger Wosahlo is an English former forward who made one substitute appearance for Chelsea in 1967, having joined the club as a junior.
An impressive player at school in his native Cambridge, Wosahlo represented England schoolboys, scoring a goal at Wembley. [1] Upon leaving school the youngster signed for Tommy Docherty's Chelsea, but would make just one substitute appearance at the age of 19, before leaving for Ipswich Town in the summer of 1967. Wosahlo found his chances equally limited at Portman Road, and spent a season at Peterborough United before returning to Ipswich. In 1970 he moved to South Africa, where he played for three years. [2]
Wosahlo would later return to Suffolk, to fulfil the role of Development Officer at non-league Ipswich Wanderers. As of 2011 he had spent over 20 years at the club.
