Sophie Ingle, (born 02 September 1991 in Cardiff, Wales is a Welsh international defender and midfielder who currently plays for Chelsea Ladies.

Before Chelsea
Born in Llandough, Cardiff, Sophie is a Welsh international playing the majority of games at left back alongside Chelsea Ladies captain Kylie Davies and fellow Blue Helen Lander. Ingle has enjoyed a spell in centre midfield for Cardiff City and is comfortable with either foot.
Chelsea career
With the second season of the FA WSL approaching manager Matt Beard took the opportunity to bring in 6 new players to add depth and quality to a side that fell short in the second half of the previous season. Sophie Ingle was signed as competition for Sophie Perry at left back whilst her versatility gives good depth to the squad.
2011-12
Sophie joined Chelsea Ladies early in 2012 ahead of the FA Cup and WSL season, the left back and centre midfielder signing from Cardiff City. Sophie Ingle scored on her debut in the 3-0 FA Cup win over Brighton & Hove Albion after coming on as a substitute.
