George Russell Anderson (24 October 1904 – 9 November 1974) was a Scottish centre forward who played for Chelsea in the late 1920s. A native of Saltcoats in North Ayrshire, he began his career at Airdrie before moving south to sign for Brentford. In May 1927 he made the short move across west London to join Chelsea. He would have to wait until the following February to make his debut and made just five appearances in total in 1927-28. The Scot found his first team opportunities similarly limited the following campaign and left to join Norwich City at the end of the season.
