James joined Chelsea as a young teenager.
Chelsea career
Jack did fairly well for the Under-18 team during his scholarship, scoring a decent tally of goals for a team which wasn't always as good as the opposition, but he failed to secure a long-term deal at the club and was released in the summer of 2006.
