Pre-Chelsea career
Lamisha grew up at Anderlecht, the club of his father Charly Musonda Sr. He is the eldest of three footballing brothers, with both Tika Musonda and Charly Musonda making their way through the club's ranks.
He did not make a single appearance for Anderlecht's first team before departing in 2012.
Chelsea career
Lamisha moved to England with his two brothers when Chelsea expressed a determined interest in signing the youngest of the trio, Charly. Father Charly Sr had previously told both Barcelona and Manchester City that if they wanted to sign Charly, they had to accomodate the others in a package deal, but neither party was prepared to.
Chelsea were, and they concluded the deal in June 2012. It took a while for him to earn regular playing time in a squad blessed with attacking midfield talent, but with options stretched across multiple competitions later in the season, he began to string appearances together and started to progress with his career.
He was limited to just two appearances in the first half of the 2013-14 season and in January joined KV Mechelen on a free transfer.
International
Lamisha is a former Belgian Under-21 international and also represented the Red Devils at younger age groups. He is also eligible for Zambia, for whom his father played almost 50 times.
