Anderson Luís de Souza (born 27 August 1977 in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil), commonly known as Deco, is a Brazilian-born, Portuguese international who played for Chelsea for two seasons between 2008 and 2010, having signed from Barcelona. Known as a creative midfielder, he was also employed deeper at Chelsea, in a holding midfield role. He won the Premier League title in his second season in west London. Chelsea won the FA Cup in both of his seasons at the club, but he was not involved in either final. Deco left Chelsea in August 2010 to join Brazilian club Fluminense.
