Frank Alain James Leboeuf (born 22 January 1968 in Bouches-du-Rhône, France) is a former centre-half who played for Chelsea from 1996 to 2001. During his time at the club he won two FA Cups, a League Cup, a Cup Winners' Cup and was a member of the side that came close to winning the Premier League title in 1999. A cultured defender with excellent technique, Leboeuf was a particularly proficient penalty taker and scored 17 spot-kicks for the Blues. He also scored several spectacular long range goals over the course of his 204 appearances for the club. Leboeuf was a member of France's 1998 World Cup-winning squad, becoming the second player to win the World Cup while at Chelsea, after Peter Bonetti.
