Pre-Chelsea career
Trevoh joined Chelsea as an Under-9. He is the younger brother of Nathaniel Chalobah.
Chelsea career
Trevoh made his Under-18 debut in March 2014 at the tender age of 14 and earned the trust of the coaching staff to line up in every position across the back four before the end of the season. He became further involved during 2014-15 and did much the same, then readily established himself as a first-choice under Joe Edwards as a scholar. Leaned on increasingly towards the end of both victorious runs, he featured impressively in the 2015-16 FA Youth Cup and 2015-16 UEFA Youth League, with Adi Viveash a particular fan also involving him in Under-21 football whilst still a 16 year-old.
Turning 17 heading into the 2016-17 season, he became Viveash's first-choice centre-back and featured in all but three matches whilst asserting himself as a prospect of some potential in the Premier League 2. He dropped back down to Under-18 level for the 2016-17 FA Youth Cup campaign, scoring against Manchester City in the Final to win the competition for a second consecutive year, and provided stability and leadership late in the season to help the Under-18s clinch their own league title for the first time in 33 years.
A regular in the Development Squad in 2017-18, he also helped the Blues to another UEFA Youth League Final despite ongoing uncertainty over his future. A new contract was eventually signed in March 2018, however, and a first loan move to Ipswich Town followed three months later ahead of the 2018-19 season. He spent most of the season in midfield, repeating the feat at Huddersfield Town a year later, before joining Lorient on loan in France for the 2020-21 season.
International
Trevoh has represented England up to Under-21 level, captaining the Under-17 squad at the 2016 European Under-17 Championships. He is also eligible to play for Sierra Leone.
