Before Chelsea
Marc Guiu joined FC Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy at the age of seven. He progressed steadily through the youth ranks, developing a reputation as a powerful, direct striker with strong finishing instincts. He made his senior debut for Barcelona in October 2023 in a La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao, scoring the winning goal just 23 seconds after coming on. He also featured in a handful of matches in La Liga and the UEFA Champions League during the 2023–24 season, splitting time between the first team and Barcelona Atlètic.
Chelsea career
2024–25 Season
Guiu signed for Chelsea in July 2024 on a permanent deal, joining the club’s attacking ranks as part of Enzo Maresca’s rebuild. In his first season, he was mainly used as a rotational option in league matches but made notable contributions in cup competitions. He scored his first Chelsea goal in the UEFA Europa Conference League group stage and added another in the competition’s knockout phase, helping the club lift the trophy. He also played in the FIFA Club World Cup campaign, where Chelsea claimed another title. 2025–26 Season
