Joseph John "Joe" Cole (born 8 November 1981 in Paddington, London) played for Chelsea between 2003 and 2010. Utilised in various attacking midfield and foward roles, he started his career with West Ham United before signing for Chelsea for £6m in 2003. Over the next seven seasons he won three league titles, two FA Cups and two League Cups with the club. Popular with Chelsea fans for his attacking flair and having been a Chelsea supporter as a boy [1], he was voted Player of the Year for the 2007-08 season. Cole left Chelsea in June 2010 upon the expiry of his contract before signing for Liverpool.
