Real Zaragoza, S.A.D. is a Spanish football team from Zaragoza in Aragon. Founded on 18 March 1932, Real Zaragoza have spent the majority of their history in the Spanish top-flight. They have never won La Liga, but have won the Spanish Cup on six occasions, in addition to an Inter-Cities Fairs Cup and a UEFA Cup Winners' Cup.
Chelsea's only matches against Real Zaragoza came in the 1994-95 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup semi-finals. A 3-0 defeat in Spain left the Blues with a mountain to climb, and the Spanish side scored a crucial goal at Stamford Bridge in a 3-1 defeat, going through to the final 4-3 on aggregate where they would beat Arsenal via a goal in the last minute of extra time by midfielder Nayim - from the halfway line.
