From TheChels.info - The Chelsea Football Club Wiki
Feyenoord Rotterdam is a Dutch professional football club located in the Feijenoord district of Rotterdam. The alternate spelling of the district in the club's name is to make the pronounciation less ambiguous to non-Dutch speakers. Along with Ajax and PSV Eindhoven, Feyenoord is one of the "big three" clubs in the Netherlands, who between them have largely dominated Dutch football since the 1960s.
The club was founded as Wilhelmina in the pub De Vereeniging on 19 July 1908 and played in blue-sleeved red shirts and white shorts. Between 1908 and 1912 the club underwent a series of changes of name and team colours, becoming Hillesluise Football Club in 1909 and then RVV Celeritas. Upon earning promotion to the National football association in 1912, the club were again renamed to become SC Feijenoord, after the city district in which the team was founded.
Chelsea first met Feyenoord in the 1999-00 UEFA Champions League 2nd group stage, winning 3-1 home and away.
