Matches against F.C. Internazionale Milano
From TheChels.info - The Chelsea Football Club Wiki
Football Club Internazionale Milano, commonly known as Internazionale or Inter, and often referred to as Inter Milan outside of Italy, is a professional Italian football club based in Milan, in the Lombardy region of Italy. They have played in the Italian first division since 1908 and play in a black and blue vertical stripes. The club has won multiple domestic league and cup titles, been European champions on three occasions, and have also won the UEFA Cup three times. Inter play at the San Siro, which they share with Milanese rivals AC Milan.
The club was founded on 9 March 1908 as Football Club Internazionale Milano, following a "schism" from the Milan Cricket and Football Club, when several members of the club were unhappy with the domination of Italians in the AC Milan team, and broke away, leading to the creation of Internazionale. From the beginning, the club was open to foreign players and thus lived up to its founding name, fielding players from overseas throughout its history.
Chelsea first met Inter in the 2009-10 UEFA Champions League first knockout round. Inter, managed by former Chelsea manager José Mourinho, won both legs and thus progressed before going on to win the tournament for the first time since 1965.
