Barrow Association Football Club were founded in 1901, and are based in the town of Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria, England. The club spent forty years in the Football League between 1921 and 1972, and have since spent their time in the top two levels of non-league football. They have played Chelsea on one occasion, losing 5-0 at Stamford Bridge in the 1947-48 FA Cup.
