Koninklijke Racing Club Genk, usually referred to as Racing Genk or simply Genk, is a Belgian professional football club based in the city of Genk in Belgian Limburg. The club formed in 1988 by the merger of Waterschei Thor with KFC Winterslag, who were originally founded in 1923. Genk have been one of the most successful clubs in Belgium since the late 1990s and regularly qualify for European competitions.

Chelsea faced Genk for the first time in the 2011-12 UEFA Champions League group stage.
